Data deletion instructions
Last updated: 26 October 2026
You can ask HAFSAGE LIMITED to delete your personal data at any time. This page explains how, for businesses that use Hafsage CRM and for individuals whose data a business holds in it. It also explains how to remove the app’s access to your Meta account.
1. If your business uses Hafsage CRM
To delete your account and all data stored in it:
- Email privacy@hafsage.com from the account owner’s email address, with the subject line “Data deletion request”.
- Include your business name and the WhatsApp number connected to your account.
- Tell us whether you want an export of your data first. We will send it before deleting anything.
You can also delete individual contacts and conversations yourself from inside the app at any time, and an account owner can disconnect the WhatsApp number in Settings.
2. If a business contacted you using Hafsage CRM
If you messaged, or were messaged by, a business that uses Hafsage CRM, that business controls your data and decides how it is used.
- First, ask the business directly to delete your data.
- If you can’t reach the business, or it doesn’t respond, email privacy@hafsage.com with your phone number and the name of the business. We will pass your request on and help the business delete your data.
Messages you exchanged on WhatsApp also remain on your phone and on the other person’s phone, and WhatsApp handles them under its own policies. Deleting data from Hafsage CRM does not delete those copies.
3. Removing the app’s access to your Facebook or Meta account
If you connected Hafsage CRM to your Facebook or Meta Business account, you can remove its access at any time:
- Go to Facebook, then Settings & privacy → Settings.
- Open Business integrations (or Apps and websites).
- Find Hafsage CRM and select Remove.
- Then email privacy@hafsage.com if you also want us to delete the data we already hold.
4. What happens after you ask
- We confirm we have received your request within 2 working days and give you a reference number.
- We may ask you to confirm your identity, to protect your data from being deleted by someone else.
- We complete deletion from our live systems within 30 days. Backups are overwritten within a further 30 days.
- We tell you when deletion is complete, quoting your reference number.
5. What we may keep
We may keep limited records where the law requires it, such as invoices and payment records for tax purposes, or where we need them to establish or defend a legal claim. We keep only what is necessary and delete it once it is no longer required. If we can’t delete something, we will tell you why.
